Workshops for Schools and Educators

Creative workshops that get students buzzing with possibility

We partner with schools to deliver hands-on STEAM and creative workshops that young people actually connect with. No lectures. No ticking boxes. Just learning that feels real, relevant and worth turning up for.

And here’s the bit that matters: Every penny you invest goes straight back into our programmes for care-experienced young people and those known to youth justice. When you book with us, you’re not just changing your students’ experience – you’re changing someone else’s future too.

How it works

The Hive Partnership: £5,400/year

6 half-day workshops. Your choice. All year long.

Pick any mix from our workshop menu – Gloss Boss (cosmetic science), Ink-Spired (tattoo art), Gear Up (engineering), Roll With It (ice cream making), podcasting, digital design, and more. We bring the buzz, the materials, and the energy. You bring the brilliant students.

What’s included:

  • 6 half-day workshops (mix and match as you like)
  • Priority booking – no fighting for dates
  • All materials and facilitators included
  • Sessions adapted for Year 7-13, PRUs, AP settings
  • Students who actually engage (we’re good at that bit)

Why schools choose this:

Individual workshops are £1,200 each. The partnership saves you £1,800 and gives you consistency, priority access, and no last-minute planning stress.

We’re not here to replace what schools do well.
We’re here to add something different.

Build your own buzz

Once you’ve got your core workshop subscription, you can add the services that fit your students’ needs. Mix and match. Scale up. We build around what works for you.

+£600 per session

Not the “make a CV” snooze-fest. Proper, practical sessions on confidence, communication, teamwork, interview skills, and figuring out what comes next. Interactive, honest, and built for students who switch off when you start talking at them.

Schools often add: 6 employability sessions across the year (+£3,600)

For schools who need it. Most don’t but if you do, we’ve got you covered.

We know 86% of schools deliver employability in-house. But for those who need external support PRUs, alternative provision, or schools with specific cohorts who need something different we offer a full accredited pathway.

We’re a City & Guilds registered centre, which means young people gain a recognised employability qualification alongside creative, hands-on delivery.

We offer qualifications from Entry Level 3 through to Level 3, so learners can start where they are and move forward in a way that feels achievable and motivating.

What this includes:

  • Creative workshops and employability sessions
  • City & Guilds accredited employability qualification from Entry Level 3 to Level 3
  • Assessment and evidence support built into delivery
  • Clear progression and next steps

Annual investment: £16,500 per cohort

We’re a City & Guilds registered centre, which means your students can leave with an actual, recognised employability qualification (Entry Level 3 to Level 3) – not just a certificate that says “well done for attending.”

The qualification builds naturally through the work they’re already doing. No cramming. No bolt-on exam stress. Just evidence of real skills they’ve developed along the way.

For schools who want consistent, long-term support for students who need it most.

Our mentors are in your school every week building trust, tracking progress, and giving targeted students the consistent adult presence that changes outcomes.

And because we’re a City & Guilds registered centre, students can work towards a recognised qualification as part of their mentoring journey.

What’s included:

  • 1 full day per week (6 contact hours) with a trained Bee N Spired mentor
  • Support for 8-12 students through 1:1 and small group sessions
  • Trauma-informed, strengths-based mentoring
  • Weekly progress updates and termly reporting
  • Optional: City & Guilds Certificate in Personal and Social Skills (5546-45)
  • Designed for students at risk of exclusion, SEMH needs, care-experienced young people, or those who’ve disengaged

Investment:

  • 12-week term: £9,600
  • 12-week term (with City & Guilds qualification): £11,400
  • Full year – 36 weeks (mentoring only): £27,000
  • Full year – 36 weeks (with City & Guilds qualification): £32,400

This works alongside any workshop subscription or can be booked standalone.

Why partnership beats one-offs

Here’s the honest truth: a single workshop can be brilliant. But the impact usually stops when we leave.

Students get excited, they make something cool, they leave buzzing. Then life goes back to normal.

But when we’re back term after term? That’s when things shift.

Students recognise our faces. They know what to expect. They trust the space. They take bigger risks, ask better questions, and start believing they might actually be good at this stuff and can do it in the future.

That’s when confidence starts to stick.

For you, it means:

  • No last-minute “who can we book for enrichment week?” panic
  • No wondering if the provider will actually show up
  • No starting from scratch every time
  • Just consistent, high-quality delivery you can rely on

Your investment creates double impact

When you choose Bee N Spired, your money doesn’t just deliver great workshops for your students.

It funds our programmes for young people who don’t get these opportunities otherwise:

  • Care-experienced young people
  • Those at risk of exclusion or exploitation
  • Young people known to youth justice services

We run multi-year accredited programmes completely free for these young people – teaching them enterprise, life skills, financial literacy, housing rights, and giving them qualifications that open doors.

Your students get brilliant workshops. Our Bees get a future.

That’s the deal. Everyone wins.
