A Day of Competition, Confidence & Community with Esports Youth Club
Bee N Spired took gaming to the next level with our first-ever Gaming Takeover, powered by an incredible partnership with Esports Youth Club. Our Bees travelled in from Harrow, Stanmore, Barking and Redbridge for a high-energy day of gaming, confidence building, friendly competition and a huge Fortnite tournament finale.
Esports Youth Club provided the full professional setup: consoles, games, screens, controllers, headsets, and a venue that felt like stepping into a real esports arena. And from the moment the first match loaded, the energy was unreal.
Leveling Up Through Friendly Competition
Throughout the day, young people battled it out on:
🎮 FIFA 🎮 Fortnite 🎮 Tekken
Some players arrived shy and stuck to the edges. Within an hour, they were sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with new friends, celebrating goals, laughing over last-minute knockouts, and hyping each other up.
Rees from Bee N Spired attended, alongside Paris, the Operational Director from Esports Youth Club. Both spent time with the young people, playing, encouraging, and talking about future opportunities in gaming and esports.
The Fortnite Finale: A 1v1 Showdown for £50.
The last match became an electrifying 1v1 moment.
Everyone crowded around the screen, shouting, laughing, and cheering like a live championship.
And then victory.
Prince took home the title of The Next Level Champion and walked away with £50 cash (not a voucher the real deal).
He also recorded a video testimonial right after, buzzing with excitement from the win.
Special Awards, Surprises & a Tekken Upset
This event wasn’t just for the winner.
To celebrate participation, effort, and skill, every young person received a goodie bag packed with:
🍬 sweets
🧦 cosy Pokémon socks
🧁 freshly baked cupcakes
Some stand-out players also earned cinema tickets for their performance across the games.
And one of the biggest twists of the day?
A young person managed to beat Paris (Esports Youth Club) in Tekken something not many people can say they’ve done.
He was rewarded with an Amazon voucher for the upset win.
Moments like that remind us why these events matter: young people discovering talents, confidence and new friendships in real time.
Food, Fun & Future Plans
No gaming event is complete without food and Pizza Hut delivered, literally.
Everyone took a break to share pizza, talk gaming strategies, swap stories, and laugh about close calls and crazy plays.
This was Bee N Spired’s first-ever gaming event and it won’t be the last.
Plans are already in motion for more gaming takeovers and a full in-person football tournament in 2026.
This partnership with Esports Youth Club has opened the door to an entire new space for our young people:
digital skills, esports opportunities, teamwork, confidence, and pure community joy.
